Some nice thing that I found about Microsofts new OS.:

1. Since Longhorn is a codename, which I kinda like as a real name for an operating system, it will change. And it’ll will propably change to Windows Vista
2. You’ll need a graphics acceleration card (3D card), so you can expect faster, hopefully better looking screens
3. It’ll launch applications 15% faster than Windows XP
4. You’ll boot your PC 50 percent faster than it boots currently and will allow you to resume you PC from standby in two seconds
5. A fresh install in 15 minutes!!

Of course, as with all Microsoft announcements and specultions, this should be taken lightly
