Now, more than a week after the installation, the Zalman watercooling is still running and how!?
I ran my CPU without cooling (forgot to turn the pump on) for about 40 minutes. I got a warning saying my processor was at a temperature of 55°C Not bad considering. Ok it wasn’t running at full load, but still. I turned the waterpump on and in a matter of seconds (9 to be exact) the temperature dropped to 22°C. I don’t think fans can clear out that much heat in such little time. (I do have to admit, there is a little amount of anti-freeze added to the water, which I found out drops the temp by about 1-2 degrees)
One final thing you’ll notice when cooling with H2O: Hard disks make a lot of noise :p
